AvtoVAZ-Renault Partnership Takes Form

AvtoVAZ has received approval to produce a car based on Dacia's low-cost Logan at its Togliatti plant in Russia from partner Renault-Nissan, just-auto has reported. The project is a part of AvtoVAZ's broader restructuring plan which envisages close cooperation between the Russian carmaker and its 25% shareholder Renault in an attempt to make it more competitive in domestic and foreign markets.
