Autos Show First Sign Of Recovery

There is renewed optimism in the Colombian autos industry due to a robust 19% year-on-year (y-o-y) increase in sales during December 2009, the first month of positive growth in nearly two years. The optimism has prompted industry participants such as Renault and Fiat to believe that the market is set for a strong rebound in 2010, mostly helped by low interest rates and an uptick in overall economic recovery expected during the year.
