Used Car Sales Hit By Currency Weakening
January 2010 | Industry Trend AnalysisUsed car imports in Poland fell a sizeable 37.2% year-on-year (y-o-y), to 693,000 units, during 2009, reaching the lowest level since the country's EU accession in May 2004, the automotive market research group Samar estimates. The fall was brought about by a sharp decline in demand during H109, when a weakening of the zloty led to more than a 50% y-o-y drop in monthly import figures.
