Saab To Get New Owner After Year-Long Wait

In an 11th hour effort to offload at least one of its unprofitable businesses, General Motors Company (GM) has agreed to sell its iconic Swedish brand Saab to Netherland-based Spyker Cars for a sum of US$500. The deal, which brings to an end more than a year-long hunt for a buyer, will result in the creation of a new group called Saab Spyker Automobiles and represents something of a David and Goliath story.
