Budget Car Project Gets Government Approval

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has given entrepreneur Mikhail Prokhorov the go-ahead to start mass production of electric cars in the country. Although final details on the project are as yet-unavailable, it is expected to be undertaken by Prokhorov's Onexim Group which is one of Russia's largest private investment funds focussing on a range of industries from mining to real estate, insurance and banking.
