Production On The Road To Recovery
January 2010 | Industry Trend AnalysisMexican auto production grew a robust 25% year-on-year (y-o-y) in December 2008, helped by a 27% y-o-y rise in export demand during the same month, the Mexican Automotive Industry Association (AMIA) estimates. The December rebound, which falls in line with the overall pick up in industrial output in the country, has prompted AMIA to predict that 2010 is likely to be 'a year of moderate recovery' for the industry.
