Nissan To Increase Local Presence

Japan's Nissan Motor is planning to add more models to its newly built manufacturing facility at St Petersburg, according to François Goupil de Bouillé, the CEO of Nissan's Russian subsidiary. BMI points out that the plant is of significant importance for the Japanese carmaker's strategy to tap into local demand in Russia, which in turn will contribute to sustainable growth and return to profitability for the company.
