Mercedes Eyes More Growth In Truck Market

Germany's Mercedes-Benz is hiring about 300 new staff at its São Bernardo do Campo plant in Brazil by end-January 2010 to help increase production in 2010, Dow Jones has reported. The new round of intake adds to the 1,600 workers the German truck maker took on at its Brazilian operations in 2009, despite the global economic crisis.
