Government Plans To Form State Autos Company

The Venezuelan government has increased its stake in the Venirauto assembly plant from 49% to 64.04% through the Venezuelan Corporation of Intermediate Industries (Corpivensa). The remainder of the company, which produces vehicles for MMC Automotriz, will be owned by Iranian Toseyeh Sanayeh Khodro Company (Aidco).
