Johnson Controls' Workers Ratify Deal

News: The Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) union has approved a new three-year labour agreement with automotive parts supplier Johnson Controls, with more than 90% of the union members voting in favour of the agreement. The tentative agreement has secured production of US automaker Chrysler's minivans, by ensuring supplies of auto parts. Under the terms of the deal, workers will be provided with job security, better benefits and a one-time productivity payment.
