Tata Plans To Export Thai Pick-up Trucks To ASEAN Block

Indian automaker Tata Motors will begin exporting its Thai-made pick-up trucks to ASEAN markets from 2010. The decision comes on the back of the cutting of import duties on local vehicle products to zero between the ASEAN trade block's four main autos markets in January. Tata will begin exports of its Thai-made trucks first to Malaysia and then Indonesia.
