SEAT Plans Production Cuts
November 2009 | Company BriefNews: According to AFP, German automaker Volkswagen's (VW) Spanish subsidiary SEAT plans to cut output at its Martorell plant in northeastern Spain in 2010. The plan, attributed to a slowdown in demand, is going to affect up to 7,484 workers at the plant, as stated by a SEAT representative. He added that the subsidiary will implement a 51-day period of work reductions over its three production lines at the plant.
