Changan Puts Mexican Plant Plans On Hold

News: According to Reuters, Chinese automaker Changan Automobile Group has put on hold its plans to open a plant in Mexico. Zhu Huarong, head of Changan's research and development division, has stated that although the automaker will not make any heavy investment for the time being, it still remains committed to entering the North American market. He added that the automaker has slowed down its entry into North America owing to the global financial crisis.
