Fiat Takes Another Look At Alfa Romeo

Italy's Fiat is carrying out a strategic review of its premium sports brand Alfa Romeo in view of its declining sales, the firm's CEO Sergio Marchionne revealed to Automotive News Europe. The brand is estimated to have incurred annual loses between EUR200mn and EUR400mn over the past ten years as sales slumped from as high as 203,000 in 2000 to only 103,000 in 2008.
