VW To Begin Pick-up Truck Production

News: German automaker Volkswagen (VW) is planning to begin production of its new Amarok pick-up truck in Argentina before the end of 2009. The truck will be produced at the automaker's Pacheco plant near Buenos Aires, with exports beginning in Q110. VW Argentina spokesperson Ronnie Frost has stated that the trucks will be exported primarily to Brazil, Germany, South Africa and Australia.
