Nissan Aims To Ramp Up Output
November 2009 | Company BriefNews: Japanese automaker Nissan Motor's South African division is planning to ramp up production at its Pretoria plant to 45,000 units in 2009. The move is based on plans to explore new opportunities in the country's export market. Neil Craddock, plant general manager at Nissan South Africa, has stated that the automaker was able to maintain a market share of 8% despite lower production volumes of 33,000 units in 2008.
