Chery Considers Local Sourcing

News: Chinese automaker Chery's General Manager for Asia Pacific and South Africa, Tony Sun, has stated that the company is considering sourcing catalytic converters from South Africa for its Chinese production plants. The move is aimed at providing local manufacturing opportunities in South Africa, along with reducing import duties faced by Chery for bringing its vehicles into the country.
