Suzuki Swaps Two Wheels For Four

Japan's Suzuki Motor has revealed plans to build a small car in Thailand. Taking advantage of the government's 'eco car' incentive package, the company will produce the 1.3-litre model at a plant in Rayong, which will have an annual production capacity of 100,000 units. Suzuki will invest JPY20bn (US$225mn) in the pant, which is due to start production in March 2012.
