Trelleborg Opens Seals Plant Near São José

Swedish parts supplier Trelleborg has inaugurated a new facility in São José dos Campos, near São Paulo, which will produce high-performance seals to be supplied to the local aviation and autos industry. The facility has been established in view of the growth potential in Brazil, where the company reportedly doubled its sales between 2005 and 2008, reaching SEK1.2bn by end-2008.
