Hyundai Seeks More Latin American Presence
November 2009 | Project NewsHyundai Motor is considering setting up a plant in Mexico which will be the South Korean carmaker's third plant in the region, joining its existing US sites in Montgomery, Alabama and West Point in Georgia. Although the exact location for the new plant is not yet known, industry insiders are speculating the carmaker may be looking to build the new Hyundai Accent and Kia Rio at the plant for the domestic Mexican market, and supply to other markets in Central and South America.
