Autos Production To Remain Low Despite Optimism

Vehicle production in Venezuela fell by almost 19.6% year-on-year (y-o-y), to 95,047 units, in 10M09, according to estimates from the Venezuelan Automobile Chamber of Commerce (Cavenez). But Minister of Science, Technology and Intermediate Industries Jesse Chacón expects production to grow in the remaining two months of the year, daily newspaper El Universal reported.
