Trade War Heats Up With Attack On 'Big Three' Carmakers
October 2009 | Industry NewsThe trade dispute between China and the US has take another turn as the American Automotive Policy Council (AAPC) has confirmed that China will begin an anti-dumping investigation into the practices of General Motors Company (GM), Ford Motor and Chrysler. The action could lead to higher tariffs on vehicles imported into China, if the three US carmakers are found to be receiving government subsidies or selling products in China and below market price.
