Supplier Invests To Be Near VW

A German automotive parts supplier has announced plans to invest in a new facility in the Nelson Mandela Bay Logistics Park, which will enable it to be close to major customer Volkswagen South Africa (VWSA). Benteler Automotive will invest ZAR178mn (US$24.2mn) in the new unit, which will create 250 jobs and take total investment in the Coega industrial development zone to ZAR40bn (US$5.45bn).
