GM Planning Further Cooperation With SAIC

While GM already has a presence in India, the deal would further SAIC's expansion into global markets. A source close to the talks, according to the Wall Street Journal, said that details of any partnership are yet to be agreed upon, but unconfirmed media reports suggest that SAIC would buy a stake in GM's India operations.
