Pininfarina Set For EV Launch in 2011

Pininfarina will be rolling out its full-electric vehicle (EV) - the Bluecar compact - in the European, Japanese and American markets in 2011, company chief executive Silvia Angori has confirmed. BMI points out that the launch falls in line with its broader strategy to exit contract manufacturing from 2011 and focus exclusively on building EVs, as revealed in January this year.
