Mercedes-Benz Unveils Luxury Hybrid Sedan
September 2009 | Company BriefNews: According to Kyodo News, Mercedes-Benz Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of German luxury brand Mercedes-Benz, has unveiled its first hybrid S-class sedan in the country. The move has made Mercedes-Benz the first foreign automaker to launch an electric-gasoline model in the Japanese market. The luxury S-Class Hybrid Long, priced at JPY14.05mn (US$151,000), achieves 30% greater fuel efficiency compared to its previous model.
