Linamar Wins US$50.7mn Aid To Develop Green Powertrains

News: Canadian auto parts supplier Linamar has received CAD54.8mn (US$50.7mn) in aid from the Canadian government's Automotive Innovation Fund, according to Reuters. The aid will help the supplier develop fuel-efficient automotive powertrains. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said the aid will help in leveraging CAD365mn (US$337.7mn) in investments by 2013 in the country.
