VW Plans To Merge Its Three Commercial Brands
September 2009 | Company BriefNews: According to Reuters, Detlef Wittig, the head of sales and marketing of German automaker Volkswagen (VW), has stated that the company is planning to merge its three light and heavy commercial vehicle brands - Scania, MAN and VW - under one roof. VW owns the majority of voting rights in Swedish heavy truck maker Scania. The automaker also owns a 30% stake in its German competitor MAN and sells light commercial vehicles under its own brand as well.
