Mercedes Looks To New Finance Unit For Sales Growth

Mercedes-Benz is planning to address credit restrictions in the UAE by establishing its own vehicle financing units. The German brand's financing arm, Daimler Financial Services, will join with local distributors Al Fahim Group and Gargash Enterprises to form two joint ventures (JVs) - Mercedes-Benz Finance and Mercedes-Benz Leasing. The range of products will include an Islamic finance package based on shari'a principles, and will be available to both business and private customers for passenger and commercial vehicles.
