EVs Get Government Push
October 2009 | Industry NewsThe French government will spend around EUR1.5bn (US$2.2bn) on getting two million electric and hybrid (HEV) cars on roads nationwide by 2020. The project will range from industrial research to infrastructure development and provision of subsidies for electric car purchase, Economy Minister Jean-Louis Borloo has revealed.
