Car Sales Down Five Times In January-August

News: According to LETA, data from the Latvian Authorised Car Dealers' Association (LPAA) indicates that new car sales in the country were down by nearly five times during the January-August 2009 period to 2,939 units, compared with the same period in 2008. Around 248 cars were sold in August 2009, 25 units more than in July. Car dealers achieved the highest sales of 2009 in January by selling 494 cars.
