Daimler Strengthens Kamaz Partnership

Daimler Trucks has extended its partnership with Russian counterpart Kamaz by signing a letter of intent on October 1, which aims to strengthen its presence in Russia's heavy commercial vehicle market. The agreement will make way for a joint venture (JV) called Mercedes-Benz Trucks Vostok which will carry out production and sales activities for German truck makers in collaboration with Kamaz.
