Tyre Makers Fear Fall Out From US China Row

Tyre makers fear the trade dispute between China and the US could hurt their businesses in Europe. Toru Tsuda, CEO of Bridgestone Europe, is concerned the US ruling placing a 35% tariff on tyre imports from China on the top of the existing 4% tariff will prompt China to export more tyres to Europe, making them uncompetitive compared with their Chinese counterparts.
