LCV To Face Emission Standards

The European Commission is likely to propose a cap of 175gm/km in carbon emission from new light commercial vehicles (LCVs) by 2013. But the Association des Constructeurs Européens d'Automobiles (ACEA) fears such legislation could result in fuel prices of these vehicles rising as much as 10% and dampen sales in a segment already been hard hit by the global economic slowdown.
