Saturn And Saab Dealerships To Close
September 2009 | Company BriefNews: According to the Toronto Star, US automaker General Motors' (GM) decision to exclude the Canadian network from the sale of its Saturn brand to US-based Penske Automotive Group will lead to the closure of 46 Saturn and Saab dealerships in Canada. GM reached a memorandum of understanding with Penske in 2009 for the rights to Saturn and other assets. However, Stew Low, the director of communications for GM of Canada, has stated that the business case did not support the distribution of Saturn vehicles in Canada.
