Government Eyes GM, Chrysler Stake Sales
August 2009 | Industry BriefNews: According to just-auto.com, the Obama administration has been monitoring its investments in US automakers General Motors (GM) and Chrysler. The White House Office of Management and Budget stated in its mid-year budget review that the government will continue to monitor investments in the two companies and will sell the stakes as soon as possible, recouping the investment made by taxpayers in these companies.
