Cummins To Reduce Shutdown Period
August 2009 | Company BriefNews: According to Associated Press, US automotive parts maker Cummins has planned to reduce the shutdown period at its Indiana plant. The supplier previously anticipated a shutdown for two months at its Columbus midrange engine factory beginning in mid-August 2009, however, it is now planning to shorten it to three weeks. Cummins spokesman Mark Land has stated that production at the plant will stop this week and will be resumed on September 14.
