Hyundai Tops Sales In Industry First

Hyundai Motor has topped the sales rankings in Turkey, marking the first time that a South Korean carmaker has achieved leadership of an overseas market. Hyundai Assan's sales reached 29,855 units in H109 to claim 15.7% of the total market, compared to a 15.6% share for the local subsidiary of France's Renault . Taking July's results into account, Hyundai's total sales for the seven-month period rose by 80% to 32,700 units.
