SsangYong Strike Comes To An End

Unionised workers have ended an often violent two-month occupation of SsangYong Motor's plant in South Korea. Tensions came to a head when police raided the plant, facing hundreds of laid-off workers demanding to be reinstated. They were gathered in the plant's paint shop, raising fears of flammable materials igniting during clashes with police.
