Perodua Cancels Kancil Production
July 2009 | Company BriefNews: According to just-auto.com, Malaysian national carmaker Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) has terminated the production of its Kancil mini-car, after 15 years on the market. The Viva 660 BX (Basic), which will replace the Kancil, was launched on July 20. Managing director of the carmaker, Syed Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar, is expecting a push in the domestic market in H209 as the government's stimulus programme continues to take effect.
