Honda To Step Up Production, Back On Overtime
July 2009 | Company BriefNews: Japanese automaker Honda Motor is planning to step up production at its plants in Japan and will bring back overtime shifts. An increase in demand for its small cars and hybrid vehicles has resulted in Honda increasing production. The company is bringing back double shifts on one of the assembly lines at its Saitama plant, in Tokyo. Workers will also work weekends and other off days at the plant from July onwards.
