AMIC Positive Thanks To June Car Sales

Egypt's Automotive Marketing Information Council (AMIC) has revealed vehicle sales in H109 were down 36% year-on-year (y-o-y). Total vehicle sales of 90,357 units were largely impacted by a 38% decline in passenger car sales to 67,129 units, compared to 108,679 units sold in H108. However, most vehicle segments posted similar declines, with truck sales down 36% and bus sales down 24%. The only area with positive sales growth was the SUV segment, which sold 2,815 units, up 11%
