Scrappage Schemes Help VW Weather The Storm

Volkswagen (VW) has reported sales of 3.23mn units in H109, down nearly 5% compared with the same period last year. Despite the fall, the German carmaker performed better than its nearest rivals Toyota Motors and General Motors Company who saw respective falls of 26% year-on-year (y-o-y) and 22% y-o-y during H109.
