Government Grants Increase 'Green' Incentive

The British government has granted GBP380mn (EUR92.4mn) to Nissan Motor's facility in Sunderland. This will be used for the development of a new generation of electric vehicles (EV) in a project which will help Prime Minister Gordon Brown's commitment to make the UK the 'electric car capital of Europe'.
