GMM Reduces Workforce Despite Positive Outlook

The Mexican subsidiary of General Motors (GM) has announced plans to slash 12% of its workforce this month as part of the parent's target to increase profitability and competitiveness. GM is the biggest carmaker in the country, operating as a low-cost manufacturing base for the North American market.
