VW Feels US Slowdown

German carmaker Volkswagen (VW) has announced plans to suspend production temporarily at its Mexican plant. The decision comes on the back of falling sales in the US, where VW sold 108,981 vehicles in January-May 2009, down 16.7% year-on-year (y-o-y), according to estimates from industry source Motor Intelligence.
