Renault Commits To African Expansion

French carmaker Renault has confirmed its commitment to a EUR600mn (US$832mn) production facility in Morocco. CEO Carlos Ghosn told a press conference on June 15 that construction will begin in Tangiers in September with production of two new models due to begin in 2012.
