Car Sales Down But Showing Signs Of Improvement
June 2009 | Industry Trend AnalysisVietnam's new vehicle sales fell again in May - although the decline has almost halved compared to April. Sales for the month were down by 24% year-on-year (y-o-y) to 8,761 units, which was a 13% increase from April's sales of 7,711. Sales in the latter were 42% lower y-o-y as only one brand, Mercedes-Benz, registered growth.
