Fiat Speeds Up Punto Production

Italian group Fiat plans to double production at its Zavasta car plant in Kragujevac, central Serbia. Production at the plant began in March following the announcement a month earlier that the carmaker intends to manufacture at least 15,000 units of the Fiat Punto at the facility by end-2009.
