Scrappage Deal To Save The Day?
May 2009 | Industry NewsThe Spanish government has unveiled a scrappage scheme, similar to those in Germany and Britain, in order to help increase vehicle sales. According to estimates from the Association des Constructeurs Européens d'Automobiles (ACEA), new car sales fell by more than 45.5% year-on-year (y-o-y), down to 67,2515 units, in April. This took cumulative sales for 4M09 down by 43.7% y-o-y to 265,210 units.
